Depuis que je suis rentrée de la Royal School of needlework, j’ai acheté des tréteaux pour mon cadre de broderie et aménagé un espace où travailler proche d’une source lumière naturelle. Cela m’a pris deux semaines avant de pouvoir broder de nouveau.

Since I’m back from the Royal School of needlework, I bought some tremmings for my embroidery slate frame and arranged a place to work.

Voici maintenant où j’en suis dans ma broderie, j’ai travaillé dernièrement sur les tiges. Je vais ensuite finir la colline au passé remordu et commencer la plus grande colline.

You can see my progress. I worked on the stem and then I will finish my hillocks.

Stitches / Point utilisés

  • Trellis for the wing / treillis pour l’aile
  • Satin stitch for the beak / passé plat oblique pour le bec
  • Shaded laid work for the small hillock / point couché dégradé pour la petite colline
  • Beginning of block Shading for the other hillock / début d’un passé remordu pour la deuxième colline

Stitches / Point utilisés

  • Split stitch for the hole / Point fendu pour le trou
  • Raised stem stitch for the left stem / Point de tige en relief pour la tige gauche
  • Shaded stem stitch for the right stem / Point de tige dégradé pour la tige droite
